New low sodium applications |
| Sodium concentration in cooling water of the power industry is a very important control parameter. In the ultrapure water, it is a measure for steam purity and a great indicator for leakage and possible corrosion. The challenge in the measurement is the extreme low concentration that needs to be detected. Many of existing Sodium Analyzers on the market therefore require addition of (toxic) buffers. Applikon Analytical has now succeeded in solving this problem by measuring concentrations as low as 0.3 ppb sodium with no or minimal (0,5 ml) use of buffer. Depending on the desired detection limit, this can be done with an Alert or ADI 2018 analyzer |
